Today's Train of Thought- Watch your head! Nov 5th, 2009
Today's Train of Thought comes to us from the North Woods of Wisconsin courtesey of railpictures.net contributor D. Kwarciani. The Wisconsin Northern operates a former Canadain National/Wisonsin Central branchline running between Barron and Chippewa Falls, WI. The line is owned by Minnesota-based Progressive Rail Inc and the motive power is a pair of spiffy-looking ex-BNSF (Nee St Louis-San Francisco) GP15-1s. Here, WN #1501 is seen crossing a country road at Eagle Point, WI while heading southbound to the Union Pacific and CN interchange in Chippewa Falls on October 5, 2006.
