While the Bruins were getting their asses handed to them at the Garden, across town the Sox managed to get off the schnide.
John Lester showed no ill-effects from that liner off of his knee last week as he threw 6 and a third shutout innings. Jonathan Papelbon saw the light of day and closed out the 9th inning.
