The BBC is reporting that a professor of nuclear physics at Tehran University was killed when a remote control bomb was detonated on his motorbike earlier today. Professor Massoud Ali Mohammed had just left his residence and was on his way to work when killed by the explosion.
Iran's press TV and security forces are blaming "counterrevolutionaries and elements of arrogance" for the bombing.
