Muslim Convert Attacks, Beheads Former Co-Worker at Oklahoma Food Distribution Center

A 30-year old Oklahoma man with a criminal background beheaded 54 year old woman at a food distribution warehouse he recently was fired from and attacked another woman in the building before being shot by the company's Chief Operating Officer last week.

The suspect, Alton Nolen, 30, was recently fired from Vaughan Foods in Moore prior to Thursday’s attack. Moore Police Department Sgt. Jeremy Lewis told KFOR that Nolen drove to the front of the business and struck a vehicle before walking inside. He then attacked Colleen Hufford, 54, stabbing her several times before severing her head. He also stabbed another woman, 43-year-old Traci Johnson, at the plant.

Lewis said Mark Vaughan, the company’s chief operating officer and a reserve county deputy, shot Nolen as he was stabbing Johnson, who remains hospitalized in stable condition Friday.

Nolen, who had previously served jail time on drug and assault charges and also goes by the name of Jah'Keem Yisrael, had Islam listed as his religion according to the Oklahoma Department of Corrections. In addition to tattoos of praying arms and one that spelled 'Jesus Christ', Nolen also had 'As-salam alakyum' ['Peace be upon you' in Arabic- NANESB!] as one of his tattoos. Although it isn't known exactly when Nolen converted to Islam, the content of his Facebook page shifted from sports and rap lyrics to almost exclusively Islamic content in the Spring of 2013- including pictures of masked ISIS and Al Qaeda fighters in Syria and beheading videos.

Before being fired, Nolen was said to have attempted to convert some of his co-workers to Islam- his dismissal came after he reportedly said he supported stoning women for offenses committed under Islamic Shari'a law.

Vaughan Foods Chief Operating Officer and Oklahoma County Reserve Deputy Mark Vaughan grabbed a rifle he kept in his office and fired two shots, striking Nolen as he was stabbing Traci Johnson. Nolen survived and is undergoing treatment for gunshot wounds at a nearby hospital.

Local police and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol have asked the FBI to investigate whether or not the knife attack was linked to any terrorist activity. Intelligence agencies had warned that he Islamic State in Iraq and Syria- better known as ISIS- had called upon supporters in the west via social media to carry out 'lone wolf' attacks in the west. Days before the Moore, OK beheading an 18 year old Muslim named Numen Haider stabbed two police officers outside a police station in Victoria, Australia. Haider, who reportedly unfurled an ISIS banner at a local mall and made plans to travel to Syria, was fatally shot during the altercation while the two policemen are expected to survive.

Six Killed After Gunman Opens Fire on Worshippers at Sikh Temple in Wisconsin

Police in suburban Milwaukee were called to a Sikh temple where services were underway when a gunman barged into the grounds and opened fire on worshippers on Sunday.

The gunman, identified as 40 year old Wade Micheal Page, entered the grounds of the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin on Sunday and began shooting at the gathered congregants, killing six and wounding two. When local police arrived, Page shot officer Brian Murphy nine times as he attended to one of the victims in the Temple's parking lot. As more officers arrived, Page began shooting at them after being ordered to drop his weapon. Oak Creek PD Officer Sam Leda returned fire with a police-issue rifle, fatally wounding Page.

Page had served in the US Army up until the late 1990s and worked as a truck driver until two years ago when he was pulled over for driving while impaired in North Carolina. In addition to his alcohol abuse and financial problems, Page was also active with white supremacist organizations. This included playing bass guitar with white supremacist heavy metal bands and travelling to a Georgia festival known as 'Hammerfest' which the Anti-Defamation League has called "a virtual Woodstock of hate rock".

Among some of the unlikely heroes from Sunday's rampage are the temple's president, 62 year old Satwant Singh Kaleka, who reportedly confronted Page with nothing more than a kitchen knife before being shot twice. Kaleka's actions were said to have bought enough time for other worshippers to flee to relative safety.

Some worshippers were also warned of Page's arrival by two children who were playing near a window in another part of temple while waiting for their parents to return from a nearby market with bread and juice for a communal lunch when they saw Page walking outside. They heard a popping that they thought might've been firecrackers until they saw people outside crumpled over. The two unnamed children then ran to the temple's communal kitchen where they warned the women there that there was a man with a gun outside. Although they were skeptical at first, everybody in the kitchen took shelter inside the kitchen's pantry when they heard what sounded like gunfire coming from inside the building.

Those killed in the attack include Sita Singh, 41; Ranjit Singh, 49; Suveg Singh Khattra, 84; Prakash Singh, 39; Paramjit Kaur, 41 and 62 year old temple president Satwant Singh Kaleka.

Toulouse Massacre Update- Neo-Nazi Former Soldiers Cleared; French Authorities Corner Algerian al Qaeda Operative

In the hours after yesterday's killing spree in front of a Jewish school in southwestern French city of Toulouse, investigators had focused their attention on three former soldiers in the French Army who were neo-Nazis and had also served in the same unit as the three soldiers who were gunned down at an ATM earlier this month.

According to reports published Monday, French police investigating the fatal shootings of a teacher and three children at a Jewish school in Toulouse were searching for the three soldiers, who were dismissed from the army a few years ago after being photographed while giving Nazi salutes in front of a Swastika flag.

Monday's deadly shooting came just days after three soldiers — from the same 17th Parachute Engineer Regiment with which the dismissed trio served — were shot dead in broad daylight in Montauban 30 miles away last Thursday. Two of the murdered soldiers were Muslim.

But France Info's report, published Tuesday, said the three neo-Nazis were located by police and cleared of any suspicion. A police official told the website that two of the former troops were interrogated after the shooting attack on the Jewish school, while the third was questioned after the attack in Montauban.

Ynet's correspondent in Toulouse added that according to reports in France, one of the three neo-Nazis voluntarily reported to a police station to be interrogated.

Investigators from the DRCI (Central Directorate of Internal Intelligence) were focusing on 24 year old Mohammed Mera, a French national of Algerian descent who had reportedly travelled to the tribal area in Pakistan's North West Frontier province to fight alongside the Taliban and Al Qaeda.

Merah was reportedly arrested by authorities in Afghanistan for planting bombs and sentenced to 3 years in prison, but was part of a massive April 2011 jailbreak that freed hundreds of inmates and captured Taliban fighters.

The DRCI had reportedly found Mera after checking e-mail correspondence from the first known victim. Mera was reportedly exchanging e-mails under a false account with a French soldier who was gunned down in a residential area of Toulouse earlier this month. Investigators traced the e-mails to a computer using the IP address of Mera's brother. Ballistics experts also conclusively matched bullets used in the school shooting as coming from the same one used to shoot the paratroopers.

On Wednesday morning, Mera exchanged gunfire with heavily armed police officers as they moved in to raid his Toulouse home- which was near the Ozar Hatorah Jewish school. Three officers were wounded and Mera barricaded himself inside his residence as he attempted to negotiate his surrender as the neighborhood was cordoned off.

CCTV footage from the schoolyard massacre also showed the shooter appeared to have some sort of digital camera around his neck to film the attack as it took place. DRCI investigators believe that Mera was ultimately going to post the footage of his attacks online at a jihad website.

Also on Wednesday morning, funeral services were held in Jerusalem for the four victims slain at the school. Rabbi Jonathan Sandler, 30, his sons Arieh, 5, and Gabriel, 4, and 7 year old Miriam Monsonego were laid to rest with at least 2000 mourners present at the massive Gavit Shaul cemetary west of Jerusalem.

Gunman Opens Fire on Crowd Outside of Jewish School in Toulouse, Killing Four

A gunman on a motorbike opened fire on a Jewish school in southwestern France, killing four people- including three children- on Monday morning.

The massacre took place shortly after 8 AM when the shooter pulled up in front of the Ozar Hatorah Jewish School near the start of the school day, dismounted from his bike and opened fire on children, teachers and parents. Among the victims were 8 year old Miriam Monsonego, who was reportedly chased down and shot execution-style by the gunman.

Eyewitness accounts claim that the gun the assailant used had jammed before switching to a .45 and continuing his rampage before fleeing on the motorbike he arrived on.

The Ozar Hatorah Jewish school shooting came less than a week after three uniformed French soldiers in nearby Montauban were shot while waiting in line at an ATM.

Two of the soldiers were killed while the third remains in a coma. The shooting of the uniformed soldiers occurred at around 2:10 p.m. local time, on a street close to the 17th Parachute Engineer Regiment base.

A locally-based official said that the perpetrator of the rive-by was riding a scooter and wearing a helmet with a visor. The rider opened fire on the soldiers while they attempted to withdraw money from an ATM.

The shooting follows a similar incident on Sunday, when a 30-year-old soldier was shot dead by a motorcycle-rider in a residential area of Toulouse, 29 miles south of Montauban

Witnesses report that the assailant in both attacks also arrived and fled on a black motorbike, wore a motorcycle helmet while shooting and one of the victims in the Montauban was shot execution-style. Three of the slain French soldiers are reportedly of Arab descent.

Much of Toulouse is made up of centuries-old buildings and narrow streets and alleys, making it easier for the gunman to evade police. The motorbike used by the assailant was reported stolen last month.

French president Nicolas Sarkozy said that it was obvious that the attack was anti-Semitic and stepped up security measures throughout the country, posting police officers and Gendarmerie outside of schools. President Sarkozy promised that 'exceptional' security measures would be taken in the mid Pyrenees region and suspended his re-election campaign.

With 400,000 to 500,000 Jews living in the country, France is home to western Europe's largest Jewish community. Over the last decade, France has seen a rise in anti-semitism- increasingly from Muslim immigrants- with Jewish cemetaries and schools being vandalised or torched as well as Jews wearing yarmulkes being assaulted by Arab gangs.

Oslo Aftermath- Shooter May Only Get 21 Year Sentence; Death Toll Revised Down to 76, Former PM Was Gunman's Main Target?

As many of the victims in Anders Breivik's murder spree were being laid to rest it came to light that under Norway's penal code, Breivik could conceivably serve just 21 years imprisonment for his bombing of government offices in Oslo and gunning down scores of children and adolescents at a summer camp on Utøya Island.

Under Norway's judicial system an inmate incarcerated for an indeterminate timeframe must demonstrate that they are no longer a danger to society at large. Given the scope and severity of Breivik's actions, it would be assumed that he would always pose a risk to the public. An additional five years of 'containment' would be tacked on to the end of a sentence if the inmate was found unfit to be released or paroled.

Norweigan Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg signaled in the immediate aftermath of the massacre that the country's penal system would be re-examined in light of the natures of the crimes Breivik has confessed to.

In the days following the shooting, officials in Norway revised the death toll down to 76- with 68 killed on Utøya Island and eight killed in the downtown Oslo bombing. In the immediate aftermath, the ranged from 10 to as many as 96 killed. Even with the revised death toll, the July 22nd attacks remain the deadliest in Norway since World War II.

Breivik had reportedly been in contact via e-mail and internet bulletin boards with far right groups in Norway, the UK and Belgium prior to the massacre, although he never relayed any plans for violence in his correspondence. Shortly before the massacre, he e-mailed a lengthy 1500 page 'manifesto'- some of which was plagiarized from the Unabomber- to contacts in England and elsewhere in Europe.


Meanwhile, according to a press release from the execrable Westboro Baptist Church, the 'Reverend' Fred Phelps and his congregation announced that they intend to picket the funerals of those slain in the July 22nd massacre.

While there are technically no laws on the books in the USA to prevent the Westboro congregation from picketing the funerals of soldiers killed in Iraq or Afghanistan, Arizona Governor Jan Brewer signed emergency legislation blocking them from protesting any of the victims slain by deranged gunman Jared Lee Loughner in the January 2011 Tuscon Massacre.

However, Norway has laws on the books against 'hate speech' meaning that the antics the Westboro congregation pulls here in the USA at soldier's funerals with impunity would earn them an arrest, fines and possible jail time in Norway [Note- I'm not endorsing such laws for here in the USA- NANESB!]

Norway's General Civil Penal Code, comments in Section 135 a. on "hateful expression" related to religion and sexuality: "Section 135 a. Any person who willfully or through gross negligence publicly utters a discriminatory or hateful expression shall be liable to fines or imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years. ... The use of symbols shall also be deemed to be an expression. Any person who aids and abets such an offense shall be liable to the same penalty."

The law further clarifies what hateful expression encompasses, “inciting hatred or persecution of or contempt for anyone because of his or her: a) skin color or national or ethnic origin, b) religion or life stance, or c) homosexuality, lifestyle or orientation."

Considering the clear wordings of the law the members of the church may not be able to get away with their picketing in Norway as they do in the U.S.

“If they implement what they threaten, I can only confirm that it is one of the most bad ideas at the moment,” said Johan Fredriksen , chief of staff of the Oslo police to the Norway Broadcasting Company (NRK).

[On a totally random side-note, is it just me or does the Westboro Baptist Church seem more like a charicture of how progressives or athiests like Bill Maher view Christianity than an actual church?- NANESB!]

After his arrest, Breivik told police that one of Norway's former prime ministers, Gro Harlem Brundtland, was his main target. Brundtland had delivered a speech to the ruling Labor Party's youth camp on Utøya island earlier that day. Breivik also said that he had accomplices or allied 'cells' that were ready to strike unspecified targets, but examination of his computer files and e-mail correspondence seems to indicate that he had worked alone in procuring weapons and planning the attacks.

An Inconvenient Truth: Armed Right Wing, Bigoted, Hate-Mongering Tea Partier Storms Discovery Channel HQ, Takes Hostages

Just days after Sarah Palin and Glen Beck's neo-fascist rally at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C. (which apparently drew 12 people and 299,990 looky-loos passing by the Mall, according to NBC), a deranged right-wing teabagging gunman stormed into the nearby headquarters of the Discovery Channel in Silver Spring, MD brandishing a pistol and metal canisters and took hostages in an attempt to get the network to change their programming to shows that suited his ideological outlook.

Only the gunman's ideological outlook is already subject to some spinning by the mainstream media and the left half of the blogosphere.

43 year old James J Lee posted a lengthy online screed decrying Discovery Channel's programming for "encouraging the birth of more parasitic human infants" and "encouraging war" before arriving at the network's Maryland headquarters on Wednesday [you'd think that he wouldn't mind the war programming so much, since that would reduce the population in some way shape or form- NANESB!]. The eco-terrorist got his wish in a roundabout way when Montgomery County Police SWAT officers moved in and shot Lee dead after he pointed his gun at one of the hostages. All three hostages were able to escape unharmed and a bomb disposal unit was called in to detonate an device Lee was wearing (one device appeared to go off when he was shot).

However, even a cursory examination of Lee's screed indicates that it's not exactly chock full of right-wing shibboleths.

Wait a second....if civilization needs to be done away with for good, how exactly do you plan on broadcasting anything? Part of Lee's demands included Discovery airing more shows that mirrored his disdain for humanity and 'Apply solutions'.

While it might be tempting to dismiss Lee as a lone crank, the so-called news outlets weren't as quick to dismiss the Pentagon shooter or Texas kamikaze pilot Joseph Stack as lone cranks and desperately were attempting to tie them to the Tea Party, talk radio or other participants in the vast right wing conspiracy. Instead, Lee's hysterical alarmism regarding overpopulation and global warming seems eerily reminiscent of the global warming hysteria surrounding the leadup to last year's Copenhagen climate change conference. It was also reported that Lee was in part inspired by Al Gore's An Inconvenient Truth. To be blunt, there probably more concrete evidence to tie Lee to the popular and mainstream global warming alarmists and overbearing envirnonmentalists as there is Robert Stack to the Tea Party.

Lee, reportedly from San Diego, CA, was arrested in 2008 on charges of trespass and disorderly conduct in front of the Discovery Channel's headquarters where the threw thousands of dollars in cash up in the air.

Connecticut State Police Release Warehouse Shooter's 911 Audio; Vigil Held in Manchester; Zero Discrimination Claims Against Hartford Distributors

Connecticut State Police last week released audio from a 911 call by a man identifying himself as the Hartford Distributors gunman, Omar Thornton.

In the beginning of the call, Thornton said, "I took it into my own hands and handled the problem. I wish I could have got more of the people."

In the call, Thornton sounds calm as he told police why he said he went on a shooting rampage inside the warehouse. "They treat me bad over here. They treat all black people bad over here," Thornton said.

Thornton also made similar claims in a final phone call to his family before offing himself. Since the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette saw it fit to point out how cop-killer Richard Poplawski (who, unfortunately is still among the living) voted McCain-Palin in the 2008 Presidential elections, then I think mentioning Omar Thornton's affinity and enthusiasm for President Obama is fair game as well.

Thornton [and his mother] were especially excited when Barack Obama was elected the first African American president, Hannah said. He listed Obama and the gun range among his interests on his Facebook page.

Meanwhile, the horribly racist and evil company that did bigoted things like hiring a black employee such as Thornton at the beginning of a substantial recession had exactly zero racial complaints filed against it in the past decade according to the US Equal Opportunity Employment Commission and Connecticut Commission on Human Rights. One black employee who retired from Hartford Distributors in March said he never experienced any sort of racial discrimination in his two decades of working for the company. A company spokesman noted that about 20% of Hartford Distributors workforce are minorities. [Of course, in wonderful Ultra Blue state liberal-land, any absence of evidence of discrimination against Thornton is somehow proof positive of systematic discrimination- NANESB!].

I will say this right here and now. The racism accusations are a very malicious, fucked-up and transparent attempt by Thornton's loved ones to try and deflect attention from the fact that he was caught red-handed stealing from his employer and subsequently murdered eight of his co-workers. Omar's skin pigment is not a 'get out of responsibility free' card.

Friends and family of the murdered were among 500 mourners who had gathered at Manchester's Center Springs Park for a candlelight vigil on Sunday. Local religious leaders began the vigil with a prayer and a violinist played Amazing Grace as hundreds of candles were lit by attendees. Manchester town manager Scott Shanley described the vigil as a 'pretty good end to an awful, awful week'.

In other developments, police in East Windsor CT arrested a 33 year old Enfield, CT woman identified as the person videotaped accepting stolen beer from Thornton. Christy Quail was charged with larceny for theft on Friday, according to E. Windsor police chief Edward DeMarco. The videotaped theft of beer was what led to Thornton's resignation immediately prior to his killing spree.

September 11th Mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed; 4 Other Terrorists to Face Civilian Trial in NYC.

WASHINGTON — Self-proclaimed Sept. 11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four other Guantanamo Bay detainees will be sent to New York for trial in a civilian U.S. court and prosecutors expect to seek the death penalty, Attorney General Eric Holder said today.

At a news conference, the attorney general said five other suspects, including a major suspect in the bombing of the USS Cole warship, Abdul al-Rahim al-Nashiri, will be tried before a military commission.

By moving the trial to a civilian court in New York, Mohammed and al-Nashiri will be guaranteed certain rights under the U.S. Constitution.

Let that sink in for a moment.

Foreign nationals who had been plotting mass-casualty terrorist attacks that killed thousands of Americans will be afforded the same due process as a motorist pulled over for a broken tail light.

This country has officially slipped back into a September 10th mindset by taking the fight to the courtrooms.

Beltway Sniper John Muhammed Executed in Virginia.

It's official.

JARRATT, Va. – John Allen Muhammad, the mastermind behind the sniper attacks that left 10 dead, was executed Tuesday night as relatives of the victims watched, reliving the killing spree that terrorized the Washington metro area for three weeks in October 2002.

He looked calm and stoic, but was twitching and blinking as the injections began, defiant to the end, refusing to utter any final words. Victims' families sat behind glass while watching the execution, separated from the rest of the 27 witnesses.

"He died very peacefully, much more than most of his victims," said Prince William County prosecutor Paul Ebert, who witnessed Muhammad die by injection at 9:11 p.m. at Greensville Correctional Center, south of Richmond. Muhammad, dressed in a blue shirt, jeans and flip-flops, had no final statement.

'Good Riddance' is about all I can say.

President Obama to Sign Hate Crimes Legislation; WV 'Hate Crime' Victim Admits Hoax.

Just in time for the president to sign new hate crimes legislation, a West Virginia woman has announced that the ordeal she allegedly suffered through at the hands of white supremacists in 2007 was a hoax.

As for the legislation, I have a problem with this on a couple of different levels. For example- if the sentencing should be escalated in a crime where the assailant was motivated by some form of prejudice or hatred to attack the victim, should the sentencing also be increased in the event somebody filed false charges to authorities and perjured themselves such as in this instance or with the Duke lacrosse team a few years ago?

Would hate crimes charges be filed against Abdulhakim Muhammed/Bledsoe in the shooting death of US Army Private William Long and the wounding of Pvt. Quinton Ezeagwula in Little Rock, AR earlier this year? Abdulhakim's actions certainly seemed to be motivated by hatred.

Don't get me wrong- bashing somebody's skull in because the assailant didn't like the victim's skin color, religion or sexual preference is pretty horrible. But instead of prosecuting somebody for not liking homosexuals or latinos or what have you....couldn't they be prosecuted for....I dunno- maybe bashing somebody's skull in? I mean- doesn't that carry some pretty heavy jail-time in and of itself? Kind of reminds me of the old In Living Color 'Partner' cop-show parody where the cool, suave detective is killed and the dopey, clueless partner is the one who has to investigate the murder. Cut to 'Partner' chasing one of the suspects at a crosswalk where the light is turning red. The suspect keeps running and the by-the-book partner waits for the light to change and shouts out after the guy 'HA! I've got you for murder one and jaywalking!!'

I can't really think of this as anything more than invasive PC overreaching from this Congress and this President.
