Hollywood Asshattery: Free Enterprise is Evil- Sodomizing a 13-Year Old Girl? Not So Much

Michael Moore insists 'Capitalism did nothing for me'- presumably with a straight face.

Meanwhile, Swiss officials are expected to rule on a bail request put forward by Roman Polanski and his counsel.

US prosecutors have 30 days left to file their formal extradition request in Switzerland, with a growing number of Hollywood celebrities voicing dismay over his arrest.

Spanish actress Penelope Cruz and Adrien Brody, the US actor who starred in Polanski's Oscar-winning "The Pianist," are among over 700 cinema luminaries to have signed a petition calling for his release.

Top US directors Woody Allen, David Lynch and Martin Scorsese were among the first to sign, followed by the likes of Michael Mann, Wim Wenders, Pedro Almodovar, Darren Aronofsky, and Terry Gilliam.

Subtle hint to the Swiss on this topic: Don't indulge Polanski- he's already demonstrated that he's a flight risk.

Also a little disappointed to see some of the names up there. Apparently some of the names not on that petition (besides French director Luc Besson) include singer/songwriter Jewel and comedians Jay Leno and Chris Rock.

Gotta wonder if convicted pedophile and director Victor Silva (Powder, Jeepers Creepers) had a chance to sign the 'Free Roman Polanski' petition yet.

  1. Too bad Michael Moore and Roman Polanski weren't sodomized as children. But hopefully Polanski will be as a prisoner.

  2. I wouldn't wish that on any kid, no matter how whiny, fat, boorish and hypocritical they grew up to be, spongebubba.

Polanski's probably going to get off with a slap on the wrist....but he's trying like hell to duck even that.
